We've spent the last few months making Wattvision more useful — especially when it comes to understanding what your energy actually costs. Here's a quick rundown of what's new.
A cleaner, downloadable bill
You can now generate a clean PDF of your energy bill right from your dashboard — view it in your browser or download it to keep. It replaces the old printable-page approach, which didn't always cooperate with browsers and printers. One click, a proper document, every time.
More accurate energy costs
We tightened up how costs are calculated so the dollar figures you see line up with the way your utility actually charges you — including tiered and time-of-use pricing. If you'd ever noticed a number looking a little off, this is fixed.
We also improved the live view: your real-time cost-per-hour is now based on the pricing settings you've entered for your sensor. The dollars-per-hour you watch in real time reflect your rate, not a generic one.
A longer free trial and simpler plans
New to Wattvision? The free trial is now 30 days (up from 7), so you have a full month to get a feel for your home's energy patterns before deciding. We also lowered the annual plan to $79/year and cleaned up the pricing and subscription pages so managing your plan is more straightforward.
Faster, friendlier support
We brought support in-house with a new ticket system and a refreshed FAQ. When you reach out, you'll get a quicker, more personal reply.
And plenty behind the scenes
We've also done a lot of less-visible work — moving to faster, more reliable infrastructure and adding better monitoring — so Wattvision is quicker and steadier every time you check in on your energy.
As always, we'd love your feedback. Thanks for being part of Wattvision!
