# Wattvision > Wattvision is a web app for live electricity monitoring and tenant billing, built on meters people already own: EKM Metering submeters (through an EKM Push gateway) and Rainforest Automation Eagle smart-meter gateways. Landlords, RV parks, marinas and small commercial buildings use it to turn submeter readings into tenant bills; homeowners use it to watch live usage, solar and costs. Plans start at $9/month or $79/year, with a 30-day free trial. Key facts: - Supported hardware: EKM Omnimeters on an EKM Push or Push3 gateway (all Omnimeter versions; up to 256 meters per Push; Wattvision pulls readings from the EKM Push cloud every minute), and the Rainforest Eagle, which reads a utility smart meter on supported utilities and uploads every few seconds. Customers who still run an older Wattvision Gateway can keep using it. - Each meter is one "site", with its own dashboard, history, alerts and bills. - Tenant billing: one-page PDF bills from real meter readings, with start and end readings and timestamps, the landlord's exact utility rate (flat or time-of-use), service charges, credits and adjustments, solar/net metering, and any billing period (monthly, move-in to move-out, custom dates). Tenants open their bill from a link; they do not need an account. - Monitoring: live usage updated every few seconds, alerts when usage spikes or a sensor goes quiet, weekly email summaries, daily/weekly/monthly history, cost estimates from your rate, data download, an embeddable live widget, and a developer API. Works on the web and on phones. - Pricing: the first site is $9/month or $79/year. Each additional site is $5/month or $49/year, so a 10-unit property is about $520/year. Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial. - Company: founded 2009, Y Combinator (W09). EKM Metering partner since 2010.
