About us

Wattvision makes it easy for you to save money on energy by giving you live feedback on your energy use, on the web or your phone.

We felt a pressing need to answer a basic question: How much energy am I using right now? We found other products difficult to use, overly complicated, and challenging to install, so we decided to make the easiest, most reliable solution available.

Meet The Team

Savraj Singh
FOUNDER

Savraj created and set up the first prototype system at his parents' house. He graduated from Princeton University with a degree in CS, worked at Microsoft as a Program Manager on the Office User Experience Team, and is either shipping sensors or writing code right now.

SUTINDER DHANJAL
CHIEF HARDWARE ENGINEER

Sutinder leads the design of our on-meter sensing hardware. He's a former manager at Lockheed Martin Space Systems and has several of his patented antenna designs in various Earth orbits right now.

SARA ALI
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT INTERN

Sara's focus is refining and developing the feature set of the Wattvision product -- so contact her with questions, feedback, and feature requests. If you're chatting with someone through our website, it's likely Sara, and she's in the Rutgers Honors College right now.

DEVIN SONI
SOFTWARE ENGINEERING INTERN

Devin is a student in the Rutgers Honors College. He works to engineer new features in the Wattvision product, and contribute to the codebase.

We're looking for a strong software engineering intern, that can visit our office at least once a week and put in about 10 hours per week. Do you have a great eye for design, and are you strong in HTML / CSS and web design tools? Are you familiar with git, and can you modify some HTML templates to match your design? If so, we have a job for you! We'd really love to have a strong UX / design person on our team, that's willing to help out with design ideas, and most importantly, actually implement them as well.
