Wattvision is migrating to a new site. This site will remain online for a bit, and the new site will evolve here: link.

Wattvision's sensors will turn an old-school electricity meter into a smart meter.

Wattvision Sensor for Analog Meters

The Wattvision Analog Sensor attaches to any circular-faced analog meter where the rotating platter (called a ferraris disk) is visible from the front, and black spot is visible on the edge. Allows tracking of consumption and demand (watthours and watts)-- updated at up to every 7.5 seconds at wattvision.com via the Wattvision Gateway.

  • Adjustable sensitivity allows broad application
  • Works by counting and timing passes of the black spot on the edge of the rotating disk
  • Note: does not work with Solar Panels / on-site generation
  • Non-permanent, easy setup and removal
  • Connects to either a Wattvision Gateway (uploads to Wattvision.com) OR a Wattvision Pulse Output Adapter (for connection to your own system) via an included 50-ft wire

Wattvision Sensor for Digital Front Meters

The Wattvision Digital Front Sensor attaches to any circular-faced digital meter where the infrared test pulse is emitted from the face of the meter (usually marked "test pulse" or hidden as one of the Serial IR ports). It allows tracking of consumption and demand (watthours and watts)-- updated at up to every 7.5 seconds at wattvision.com via the Wattvision Gateway.

  • Works with a number of meters that have an infrared pulse output port: GE I-210, I-210+, and similar; Itron Sentinel variants; Sensus iCon Variants; Elster Meters (R1S, R2S, and variants)
  • Works by counting and timing infrared pulses emitted by the meter
  • Note: does not work with Solar Panels / on-site generation
  • Non-permanent, easy setup and removal
  • Connects to either a Wattvision Gateway (uploads to Wattvision.com) OR a Wattvision Pulse Output Adapter (for connection to your own system) via an included 50-ft wire

  • Works with the Itron C1, C1S, C1SR, C1ST, C2S, C2SR, C2ST…X... (and other similar looking Itron / Centron / Schlumberger meters). These meters have an IR Pulse Port on top.
  • Works by counting and timing infrared pulses emitted by the meter
  • Note: does not work with Solar Panels / on-site generation
  • Non-permanent, easy setup and removal
