What's New: A Whole New Wattvision
Since our last update we've rebuilt nearly every page of Wattvision. As of this week the new experience is on for everyone. Here's what changed.
A redesigned dashboard

Every page you use has been redesigned from scratch: your sites list, the live view, day, week and month, your bill, and settings. Pages load faster, the charts are sharper and easier to read, and everything works on a phone, with a tab bar along the bottom of the screen.
The live view shows what you're using right now, what it's costing you per hour, and today's and yesterday's totals, with a chart that reaches back 15 minutes or a full 24 hours. (That big block overnight in the screenshot is an electric car charging.) The day view lets you step from day to day, zoom into a time range, or compare a day against any other. The week view is a heat map of every hour of the week, so patterns jump out at a glance.
Outdoor temperature next to your usage

Heating and cooling drive most home energy use, so we put the weather right next to it. The day view now plots the outdoor temperature alongside your usage, and the week view adds each day's average, low and high. When a cold snap hits, you'll see exactly what it did to your usage.

To turn it on, set your site's location in Settings. Just type your city and pick it from the list.
Clearer bills

The bill page now shows your estimated cost up front, then the bill details (including the meter readings) and a day-by-day breakdown. A few billing improvements came along with it:
- Credits and adjustments. Bills can now carry a negative line item, for a credit or a correction, and you can choose whether it appears on the bill.
- Meter readings on the PDF. Downloadable bills now list the start and end meter readings, so tenants can check the math.
- Time-of-use across daylight saving. Time-of-use bills now price every hour correctly in the weeks the clocks change.
- Checked against the meter. For EKM meters, we now check our readings every night against EKM's own totals and fill in any gaps. Your bills match what the meter actually recorded.
Share your energy with a live widget

The embeddable widget has been rebuilt with Live, Today, Week and Month tabs. You can turn it on from the new Share page and paste one line of code into your own website, a building's lobby display, or a community page. The widget stays off until you turn it on. Visitors see live power, the last 30 days of use, and cost estimates if you choose to show them. They never see your email, your address, or your bills.

Import all your EKM meters at once
If you manage several units on EKM meters, you no longer have to add them one by one. Enter your EKM Push key once, and Wattvision lists every meter on it. Name each one and import them all as sites in a single step.
Dark mode

Wattvision now follows your device's light or dark setting automatically, or you can pick one yourself from the menu in the top corner.
A friendlier weekly email
The weekly energy email has a cleaner, easier-to-read layout. And if you have a question, just hit reply: replying to any Wattvision email reaches our support team directly.
A new home for Wattvision

The public website has a fresh look too, with a live reading from a real EKM meter right on the home page, a page on tenant billing, and simple pricing: one plan with every feature, from $79/year, and a 30-day free trial.
And behind the scenes
We've also made Wattvision faster and more reliable. Data comes in more consistently from EKM meters, you stay signed in for 30 days instead of getting logged out, and a footer on every page now links back to support and the rest of the site.
Prefer the old look for now? There's a Back to classic link at the top of the page while we finish the switch. And we'd love to hear what you think. Use the feedback link at the bottom of your sites page, or just reply to your weekly email.
Thanks for being part of Wattvision!
