What's wattvision?
Wattvision makes it easy for you to save money on energy, by giving you a live view of your energy use on your computer or mobile device. Wattvision works through a sensor that connects to your electricity meter and your home's wireless internet connection.

We felt a pressing need to answer a basic question: How much energy am I using right now? We couldn't find any products we liked that worked with today's energy infrastructure.
So we developed a hardware and software solution — easy for you to install, understand, and enjoy.
Investors
Wattvision received seed funding from YCombinator in January 2009 and raised a small angel round in April 2009. Angel round investors include Das Kapital Capital and Mixin Capital.
Team
We are a team of engineers who have worked and studied at Microsoft, Lockheed Martin, and Princeton University. We value self-discipline, the greater good, and action over words.
